JOC: JOB ORDER CONTRACTING
The S.A.L.T. Foundation Organization is a pioneer in Job Order Contracting Programs (JOC) and has utilized JOC for our client’s benefit since the late 80s.
What Is Job Order Contracting?
The Job Order Contracting Program is a Long-Term Commitment Program, not a construction project, contract, hard-bid, or lowest bidders’ costs. It is more aligned with the Professional Service Design Build and the Construction Manager at Risk procurement selection process.
A Job Order Contracting Program (JOC) is an alternative construction method duly approved by the Federal, State, County, and Municipal governments. As well as higher education entities and the State of Texas to obtain construction management services emphasizing Partnership, Best Values, Collaboration, and Teamwork. The Cameron County Job Order Contracting Program is a program that supplies the proven methodology to execute a wide variety of indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, fixed price, and multiple projects simultaneously for Renovations, Rehabilitation, Emergency Response, Building Additions, Facility Maintenance, and Repair Work at the Counties Facilities and Infrastructures. Job Order Contracting is about performance, reliability, dependability, and high-quality, cost-effective results while working within budgets and time constraints.
